Temporary Pause on New Referrals
We want to keep everyone who uses our service informed.
At the moment, we are at full capacity, so we are temporarily pausing new referrals. This helps us make sure that the families and dads currently receiving support continue to get the time, care, and quality service they deserve.
We understand this may be frustrating, and we really appreciate your patience and understanding.
We will review this position in two weeks and will update this page as soon as we are able to reopen referrals.
If you are a professional or a dad looking for support in the meantime, we encourage you to explore alternative local services or reach out to us for guidance where we can.
Thank you for your continued support.

their family.
We work directly with services that support
Dads, families and especially babies to increase

Without Dad Matters, I don’t know where I would be right now.
Before I found Dad Matters, I felt overwhelmed by the emotional rollercoaster of the situation
Talking with other dads has really helped me navigate the madness and gain some proper wisdom
What makes Dad Matters unique?
Dad Matters is powered by Home-Start – and that’s what makes it unique. It recognises that the best way to support babies is to support the people who care for them – including their dads. By strengthening early relationships between fathers and their babies, Dad Matters improves outcomes for the whole family.
Home-Start UK has been able to carry out an initial evaluation into the reach and impact of Dad Matters projects to date, which shows that over 40,000 dads have been supported through universal engagement since 2017 and almost 2,000 dads through one-to-one support. 77% reported improving parent-infant relationship knowledge and 84% reporting improved wellbeing. Dad Matters training has been delivered to over 15,000 professionals to build trust, increase referrals and encourage Dad-inclusive practice.
